History

While the Yashica-12 was built for 120 film, the Yashica-24 was designed primarily for 220 film, offering 24 exposures per roll. This made it popular with wedding photographers and others who needed to minimize film changes.

Innovations

  • Optimized 220 film transport

Collector Notes

220-film only variant. Less useful today as 220 film is rare.
